Memorial Day

As a navy brat and friend this weekend was very emotional and heartbreaking remembering the lost and thanking the present and past and also remembering a young soul who was lost this week but it was even more trying because the weather seemed to reflect my mood... rainy, rainy and some more rain but that didn't stop me from putting something fun on my nails to lift my spirits. I wore Whimsical Idea's by Pam Seuss and it did put a little smile on my face every time I'd catch a glimpse of them. I love this fun polish, it's a candy blue jelly with blue shimmer sparkles, small red and big silver hexagons.

I love how her polishes just bring out the kid in you. Her polishes are $10 each and at the moment she just ships to the US. For more updates check out her facebook for more details and pictures of her other amazing polishes.

Is it almost summer yet?

Hi dolls I have 3 amazing colors I what to show you  from Pixi. Pixi is a cute brand that is 3 free and you can find at Target for $8. All these polishes went on like a dream, first coat was a bit streaky but after the second coat it was perfect.

Today I have Coral Cabana, Luminous Lilac and Paradise Pink.

First up is Coral Cabana, I'm in love with this coral because well this is the color of coral, not too red and not too orange.

Next up we have Luminous Lilac a shimmery Lilac that is simply light and girly.

Now last and not least and my favorite of the bunch is Paradise Pink, it's like a light hot pink, not yet hot pink yet it screams pink with a smig of purple.

What do you think of these colors? Fun and summery? I can't wait to get my hands on more of these colors. Check out Pixi Beauty's facebook and site, and Petra's blog(the mind behind Pixi's Brand) remember you can find these beauties at Target so go check them out.

Coral Never looked this good

Hey dolls these last couple of days have been something, every time I do my nails to swatch them for you it rains! And some of the polishes really scream let me out in the sun let me out in the sun so since today was a rainy day I decided to go back in my nail art design file and show you another Cult Nail art design I came up with( oh yea there are alot). But I used Cult Nails Captivated and Scandalous and paired it with the Cult Nail square rhinestones.

I just love these two colors together and I love how Scandalous is so Jelly. For this design I just painted Scandalous as my base color made a "T" design on my ring finger with rhinestones as an accent and painted Captivated in two of the blocks and with the thumb I just made an off center line with rhinestones and painted one side with Captivated. What do you think of this design? Should I send this one to Maria too, poor Maria I sent here a dozen designs so far. If only she would stop coming up with amazing products...SIKE! And these rhinestones should be going on sale sometime in June I'll keep you gals posted.
Till tomorrow.

My Second Love

Well I know I've said it before and I'm going to say it again I am in love with Barielle's polishes. Barielle was another one of our amazing sponsors for the May Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida's Meet Up and I received Barielle's End of the Rainbow, at first I thought it was Barielle's Island Breeze because it was close in color but these are totally different and not to get them confused. End of the Rainbow is a sheer aqua green with a shimmer where Island Breeze is a more opaque shimmy deep aqua blue. Here's End of the rainbow...

This was 3 even thin coats, so if you use 2 thick coats that would be fine to, but it also looks amazing and subtle with one simple sheer coat. It was amazing how one second it looked blue and then it looked more green with a flick of the wrist. I just love the shimmer in this polish, it's funny how I'll say this is my favorite Barielle color then I try another one and I'm like no this is my favorite.... I just love them all. How do you feel about this color?

Barielle is hosting a BFF Sweepstakes on their  Facebook page. The contest starts May 21,2012 and ends June 30,2012. Twenty random winners will be selected. The prize is Barielle’s Nail Strengthener Cream(full size), a Barielle Base Coat, Top Coat and 3 Shades Colors of your choice-a retail value of up to $74.50!!! So make sure to LIKE THEIR FACEBOOK page and enter some basic information and the best of luck to you dolls their products are amazing!!

Check out Barielle...

It's okay to drool

I was so happy that Chick Nail Polish was one of our sponsors for the May meet up and I finally got my hands on one of their cute polishes. I'm so in love with their simple logo. I received Raven's Egg a very drool worthy deep shimmery blue. The shimmer in this polish is absolutely amazing.

I love this polish, the formula was amazing, the brush was perfect and it was a one coat job. I honestly can't stop looking at my nails, can't wait to try their other colors. The only down side to this polish is taking it off, it was heart breaker. Chick nail polish are all 3 free and they run for $9.00 so check out their site and try them out. What do you think of this blue?

Living in a Fairy Tale

Well yesterday at the meet up Maria from Cult Nails sponsored us and gifted us with the omg I can't believe it either the new up and coming Cult Nails Fairy Tale collection that will be going on pre-sale the 25th for one week only at the discounted price of $40.00 for 5 polishes! They are planning to ship them June 15 and by that time you should be able to buy them separately also but I just love the whole collection.

So let's start with Froggy.... A bit sheer on one coat but with 2 coats it's fully opaque. It's a beautiful shimmery green.

Next we have the Evil Queen and let me tell you I am in love with this red!

Following the Evil Queen we have Princess a light blue with a copper shimmer, now I finally know why I wasn't totally in love with Cinderella it's because I was hoping and waiting for this polish...

And of course following the Princess is her Prince Charming, which really reminds me of my prince charming because his favorite color is purple. Now I love this purple it's sheer in one coat like Froggy buy with coat number 2(depending on how thick your coats are) it's perfect.

Last but not least Happy Endings because every fairy tale deserves a happy ending. Happy ending is a rainbow shards in a clear base and I absolutely love it! It adds that charm to the polishes.

I simply love this collection.
