12 Days of Christmas: Day 2: Snowflakes

Hi Dolls, so today is all about the snowflakes and I for one was so exited because I live in Florida so I don't get alot of snow or alot of wintery cold things so I took full advantage of this challenge and went all out. So here's what I used....

Alot of stuff right for snowflakes huh? I used Feenix's Blue Christmas, Cuccio's On the Nite Blue, 2 Black and White nail art brushes, Milani's Black Swift, Zoys'a Purity, Essie's Mini Braziliant, a metallic red nail art brush and Vapour top coat, along with Mash's Nail dotting tools and rhinestones. With all those tool here's my end result...

Yes I added a penguin because my middle finger broke last night at work so I tried to use reverse physiology on me and it's working so instead of seeing a broken middle finger nail I see a cute little girl penguin.

Not the most flawless penguin I know, but I'm working on my rusty skills and I promise next year's penguin will be even more cute.

I really enjoyed doing these nails and I hope you enjoyed them too. This challenge is making me feel all festive and make sure to check out all the snowflakes all these other amazing ladies have created!

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge

Have you dolls ever gone through a phase where you just seem to not be able to finish anything? I'm trying so hard to break one, I can never seem to finish picture challenges or nail art challenges so here's to breaking the cycle and starting my New Year's Resolution early. I will finish this challenge and will love every minute of it because it has to do with my favorite time of year. 12 Day's of Christmas Nail Art Challenge.

So for day 1 Red and Green Only.... So I used A England's Saint George and China Glaze's Cranberry Splash along with one of my new favorite top coats form Vapour for a elves stockings/sock type of look.

I wanted to use tape but for some "strange" reason I couldn't find it. I think I have elves in my house or else a little boy who loves hiding my stuff. In the end I really like these colors together, makes me so much more ready for Christmas. How about you? Make sure to check out the Red and Green Only designs for these awesome ladies!

Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away Swatches(picture heavy)

Okay dolls today in the US it's Black Friday, the day people would work in retail... on the floor retail dread. So it's safe to say I'm staying in doors till it's safe to go out, which is probably not until after the holidays. Anyways for all my shoppers out there, there is a must have collection you just have to get this season. China Glazes Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away Limited Collection. Now if you ever seen a Cirque Soleil Show you will know that it's absolutely amazing, what they do with their bodies and the colors everywhere it's a must see.  So today I have 6 beauties from the Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away inspired collection from China Glaze to show you.

So kicking off Def Degying, a lime green creme that is the honestly the most perfect shade of lime green I have ever seen. I don't know if it's because the formula is head on or what but it's perfect I only used 2 coats.

After that we have Escaping Reality, which is a neon deep pink. It dries somewhat matte but something about that attracted me to the color, so for the pictures I left it matte.

Now we have the one of the ones that I believed drew the most attention. It's a Trap-eze, a rainbow muti-sized glitter in a whitish base. I think it drew so much attention because a glitter in a colored base isn't something big brands have really done before it's mostly been an indie thing. What I love about this polish is it was simple to use, I only used 2 coats and to smooth it over I used a thick top coat!

Now we come to Surreal Appeal and I have to say this color is hard to pin down. It's a coralish, pinkish color that like true to it's name it has a surreal appeal. I've seen some swatches where it looked neon and other where it looks pink so when I saw it in person I was like huh? It's one of the beautiful colors that you just have to see in person. I used 2 coats.

Now we've come to another one that's cause quite a stir. Whirled Away was said to be a Connect the Dots dupe, but it's not even close. Me personally I like this one better or maybe it's just the theme of the collection that makes it fit in place. I used one coat on top of Surreal Appeal and one coat of top coat to smooth out the glitters.

Now I am so exited to show you this one, it was so unexpected. I didn't think I could possibly love a polish as much as I love Running in Circles, it's a green slightly sheer base with green and lime green shimmer that has a du-chrome feel to it. I used 2 coats and I loved it so much I just had to spam you with 6 pictures!

Wow is all I can say about this collection, I am going to have to get the 6 others in the collection as soon as I can. What do you think about Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away Collection and the colors? If you want to find out more about their collections and to stay in the know "like" their facebook and follow them on twitter. Till later dolls.

China Glaze Holiday Collection

Hi Dolls, alot has been happening this week and I'm so ecited to share it with you all but, I had to put the breaks on it all because Roman got really sick but, now he's back to normal and the fun can begin!

So I got a couple of the China Glaze Holiday Collection and they are seriously on mark for the holidays. SO lets get this holiday party started!

First up is Cranberry Splash, it's a metallic red with a hint gold shimmer to it. Now as most of you know by now I love red, it's my favorite color so I fall in love with most reds but I really love this red.

Next up we have With Love, a creme red with no and's if's or buts.

Now for some shimmers and glitters! We have a beautiful glitter Champagne Kisses, a champagne glitter with a hint of holographic sparkles. I used 2 coats and a top coat for a smooth glossy finish.

What screams winter time? Winter Holly is what, a pine tree green with holographic sparkles screams Douglas Furs, pine needles, and Christmas trees.

For the last of the shimmers we have Glistening Snow,a holographic glitter. This has to be one of my favorites from this collection, it's just so beautiful.

Last but not least we have the glitter Pizzazz, I don't know why when I first saw it I thought of fruit cake but I did, it's a rainbow glitter in a clear base full of different size hexagons and squares! I love squares so when I saw that I was like OMG throw me a curve ball. I paired this with Go Go Pink.

So what do you think about these polishes from their Holiday Collection? Have you seen the rest of them? Remember to check other their site, facebook and twitter to keep up to date with their collections.
