Live Love Polish - Seche Iconic Review

Press Sample

Hey dolls! Today I'm sharing with you a polish I received from Live Love Polish! Today I'm sharing with you Ionic from Seche along with their Dry Fast Top Coat.
So let's get right into it with Ionic.
Iconic is true to it's name it's the iconic metallic red that screams old time Hollywood glam. Seche polishes are just as awesome as their top coat. I used 2 coats and the Seche Vite Dry Fast top coat to seal in this beauty with a fast and glossy shine.

So what do you think of this color Iconic? Have you tried Seche nail polishes? What about the Seche Vite Dry Fast top coat?

Live Love Polish is an online nail polish lover's dream. They carry brands from Color Club, Floss Gloss to Models Own and of course Seche along with other amazing brands. What I love about this site is if you live in the US and spend more than $20 you can get free standard shipping!! Yes! I know, most of the times I spend $25 in polish and my shipping is about the same as it cost for the polish. So this means more money for more polishes! That's my logic and I'm sticking to it.

So make sure to check out Live Love Polish and check out all the polishes they have. Also check out their Instagram and Facebook.

Bring in the New Year with Mirabella The Beauty Council Edition

Press Sample

It's crazy how this year has flown by so fast and all the sweat and tears into buying presents, wrapping said presents and cooking feasts ended in less then 24 hours. Now in less than a week we are welcoming a new year! So today The Beauty Council and I are sharing our New Year's looks with you with the help of Mirabella's Faeie Collection!

For me I normally spend my New Year's Eve running around trying to plan the get together and get the final pieces, I love the simple day look that can be easily turned into a night look without having to start all over or looking like I'm going to the club at 10 o'clock in the morning and the Mirabella's Farie Collection gives me that gorgeous look during the day and night.

So here is my simple day look.
For this Mirabella look I used Mirabella's Visionary Long Wear Eyeshadow in Myth, Swirling Pearl Brilliant Highlighting Powder for my cheekbones and inner eye and Colour Luxe Lip Gloss in Luminosity. For my night look I just switched it up a bit by using Mirabella's Colour Luxe Lip Gloss in Gossamer and a dark eye shadow in the crease to add a deeper depth.

I get both a day look and a night look, so I'll have no problem switching from day to night in a giffy before my guest arrive.

Now for a closer look at the Mirabella Faeie Collection.

First we have Colour Luxe Lip Gloss in Luminosity and Gossamer.
If you like shimmer and shine these are for you, they give you the right amount of shimmer without the gritty feeling and the right amount of glossy shine without feeling sticky. Luminosity is a shimmery pink while Gossamar is packed full of shimmer shimmer.
Next is Mirabella's Visionary Long Wear Eyeshadow in Myth.
This isn't your everyday type of eyeshadow, this is a knock you off your feet eyeshadow. It's like a high in pigment fluffy moose!
I love how pigmented this shadow is and I am in love with the color, it's perfect for day and night.
Last but not least we have Mirabella's Swirling Pearl Brilliant Highlighting Powder.
I can't say enough about this highlighter it's life!

It's perfect, this has become my favorite highlighter, I love adding it to my inner eye and adding that pop on my cheek bones.
Doesn't this highlighter make your heart skip a beat?

The Mirabella Farie Collection can be purchased on Mirabella's site

Sparitual's Fall In Love Swatches

Press Sample

Today I have a Marsala themed post for you! As you've probably heard by now Pantone's 2015 color of the year is Marsala, so we're rolling out the Marsala themed beauty products and today I have one from Sparitual! Today I'm happy to introduce you to Sparitual's Fall in Love.
Marsala is described as a earthy red wine and Fall In Love is very earthy with a spark.
Fall in Love is described as a mauve red but for me it is more of a red-orange full of this beautiful gold shimmer.
The formula for this was perfect, I used 2 coats. What's also great is SpaRitual’s vegan nail lacquers are 5-free and formulated without DBP, Toluene, Camphor, Formaldehyde and Formaldehyde Resin.
Me personally I love the color Marsala. My curtains are the color Marsala before it was in, so I like to think I was ahead of the trend.

So what do you think of Sparitual's Fall in Love? Let me know what you think.

Sparitual polishes retail for $12 and can be purchased on their site and at Ulta.

Smashbox's On the Rock Review

 Purchased by Me

So I did a little shopping at Ulta recently and I was just looking for nothing particularly when I came across Smashbox's On the Rock's palette. Now I've never tried any Smashbox's products before so I didn't really know what to think. So today I come to you with a Smashbox's On the Rock's review!

So first off let's talk about the packaging. I am in love with the holographic gem stones on the packaging. It's on the packaging, it's on the palette and it's on the look book inside, but that's not holographic.
This palette is very sturdy, I'm not going to be afraid to throw it in my purse and the mirror rocks.

On the inside of the palette you will see the theme still comes through with the big gem rock in the center of the 12 beautiful colors along with one of those plastic sheets that says the name of each color and let's be real I'll most likely lose it.
And under that plastic sheet are some gorgeous colors, these are perfect for the holiday parties.

Now that we've gotten into the palette let me explain why I bought this...

Need I explain more? The pigmentation with these colored are amazing and they are so smooth, I couldn't say no.
L-R Coronation, Vanilla, Nutmeg, Sapphire, Mist and Obsidian
This is all with no primer, from left to right we have Coronation a deep plum purple with eye catching sparkles. Vanilla a matte beige. Nutmeg a metallic gold-copper. Sapphire is a metallic sapphire. Mist is a shimmery snowy white lilac. Obsidian is a gun metal metallic with some eye catching sparkle.

L-R Blacktop, Opus, Chianti, Bourbon, Confectionette, and Midnight Emerald.
Also with no primer from left to right we have Blacktop a matte black with eye catching sparkle. Opus is a satin/matte pale almost white pink. Chianti is a shimmery sangria with eye catching pink sparkle. Bourbon is a deep dark chocolate brown also with eye catching sparkle. Confectionette is a pale metallic shimmery champagne. Lastly, we have Midnight Emerald a metallic emerald green.

So my thoughts on this palette are that the colors are beautiful. I'm in love with the pops of color and the finishes. My least favorite would have to be Blacktop, it didn't do anything for me the sparkle came through to me more than the actual matte black, I wish it were more black to rock out with these gems. For the most apart I see myself getting a back up because I can't stop playing wiht Midnight Emerald and Bourbon

This is an awesome small palette that is perfect for those holiday parties on the go. What's even better is it's on sale right now at Ulta for $18!!! I originally bought this on sale for $29 and it retails for $36. So I'd snatch this steal of a deal if you can.

So what are your thoughts on this palette? What's your favorite color in this palette? Let me Know.

Bdellium Pink Bambu Brush #974 Review

Purchased by Me
Hello dolls, today is going to be a simple a quick review of one of my favorite brushes. Today I give you my review on Bdellium's Pink Bambu #974 Tapered Powder Brush.

I was introduced to Bdellium Tools at the Orlando Makeup Show and ever since then I've been hooked. What's more to love is each is handmade, so in my mind each one was loved a little for me. Here's a little about Bdellium...

"We create each brush using a balance of natural and/or synthetic hair to achieve the perfect amount of form and stiffness compatible with the function each brush is designed for. Our 7 different product lines have very distinctive features: Maestro Series features a collection of luxurious antibacterial makeup brushes with nickel plated brass ferrules. Green Bambu, Yellow Bambu and Pink Bambu Series features eco-friendly makeup brushes with all sustainable bamboo handles and all vegan soft synthetic bristles and an anodized aluminum ferrule. Studio and Travel Lines feature antibacterial makeup brushes with the classic 7 layer lacquered yellow handle with an anodized aluminum ferrule. The SFX Series is our makeup brush line specifcally for special effects makeup." -
bdellium tools

And a funny fact the "B" in Bdellium is silent, so it's more like dellium with a secret B.

Now on to my favorite brush! When I was at the makeup show I was drawn to the Pink Bambu brushes, because well they were pink! And after touching them all I knew I had to take one home, yes sadly only one, so I gladly took the #974 Tapered Powder Brush with me.

#974 details
  • Designed to sculpt and shape cheeks and temples using powder, blush, or highlighter
  • Professional eco-friendly, makeup brush
  • All sustainable bamboo handles and vegan soft synthetic bristles
  • All aluminum ferrules. 100% cruelty free
This baby is soft and light and with the shape my product goes just where I want it.

I've been using this brush for a month now and it's held up amazingly. After washing it there was no bleeding, no shedding, and it was still baby soft.

I also think it's pretty cool that handles are made out of bamboo.

Bdellium makes some unbelievable brushes that are beautifully made and are a makeup lovers best friend. My goal is to stock up on their Studio brushes especially their blending brushes, I've heard amazing things about them.

If your on the market for a Powder Brush this is the brush for you! This #974 Tapered powder brush retails for $20.00.

So what are your thoughts on this brush? Do you have any Bdellium brushes? Also what is your all time favorite brush you own or even wish you had? Let me know.

Gerard Comsetics 1995 & Cherry Cordial Review

Press Sample

I'm pretty sure you've seen Gerard Cosmetics or as they use to be known as Whitening Lighting Cosmetics around the web and recently they've re branded and come out with some new lipsticks. Today I get to share with you 2 beautiful colors, I'm sharing with you 1995 and Cherry Cordial.

But before we start can we talk about these golden tubes! I personally love these, they are like golden bullets for lips that are going to knock you dead.

So first up let's start with 1995.
1995 is such a 90's color that's making a big come back thanks to Kylie Jenner. You know it's a throw back color when your mother tells you she use to wear that color all the time back in the day. This is actually a beautiful color, at first I was nervous because let's be real I'm a girl of color and some nudes/pinks don't really look right on me but this color is very colored friendly as it's a warmer kind of nude rosy pink.

Next we have Cherry Cordial.
Cherry Cordial is a beautiful dark vampy red. It actually reminds me of a matte version of OCC's Black Dahlia! It's a perfect winter color.

In the end these are nice colors and I actually like the matte finish of them. I also loved how they managed to last without having to check and make sure I didn't have lipstick on the side of my face. My only recommendation would make sure your lips are prepped because since they are matte if you have flaky lips this lipstick wont be your friend, but they're not overly drying like some matte lipsticks or cracky. They actually go on easily too.

These retail for $19.00 each.

So what are your thoughts on these colors? Have you tried Gerard Cosmetics? Let me know.

If you want to know more about Gerard Cosmetics make sure to check out their site and check out the other awesome colors and I highly recommend their lip glosses! Also make sure to check out their facebook, twitter and instagram on sales and giveaways.

Let's talk Star Style Hair

So today I want to talk about some hair I bought from Aliexpress but first I want to say that anyone can get hair extensions. There are so many different types of hair extensions to help you achieve the perfect looks you're trying to get from volume to length to just a safe and easy way to do whatever it is you want to hair without doing it to your own hair(like what I did). There are also so many different types of ways to have hair installed or added, from wearing wigs, halos, clips ins to sew ins, fusions and even glue ins. So don't think that you can't get that full, curly, waist length hair just because you have thin, straight, short or even no hair because anything is possible with the right stylist and the right hair.

So back on topic I ordered some hair from Aliexpress a couple months ago. If you haven't heard of Aliexpress, is a great place to get things for a really affordable price, most things come from overseas and you also have to be careful because sometimes it's hit and miss and luckily for me I scored.

I purchased my hair from Star Style Hair, I purchased the 3pc Brazilian body wave in 20",22", and 24" for $149.30. Now with Aliexpress prices are always changing some days it's cheap some days they want your first born but for the most part Stay Style Hair's prices have always been affordable and that's one of the main reason's I purchased from them. Another reason was because the customer service rocked, Stephanie answered all of my questions and helped me decide what hair would be good for me because I'm only 5'2" and I wanted long hair but I didn't want hair like Rapunzel.

What surprised me was shipping was so fast, you would think that it came from down the street. I ordered on a Saturday around noon and got it that Monday at 3:45 pm! Makes me wonder what is taking my rhinestones and clothes so long to get to me.

So when I opened my yellow package from DHL inside was my hair, 4 flexirods and a card with instructions for hair maintenance.
The first thing I noticed was the hair was so soft, I kept running my fingers through the hair smiling like a crazy women. The next thing I noticed was it had a bit of a beauty shop hair smell, but let's be honest most hair smells like that and I'd be a bit worried if it didn't or had a bad smell to it.

After running my fingers through it a million times I washed the hair using Oganix's Kukui Oil shampoo and conditioner which I am totally in love with.

After that I noticed it was lighter than my hair so I dyed the hair with Dark & Lovely's Jet Black and after that I figured with the Makeup Show happening soon I might as well go big or go home so in the end I bleached it and threw some Ion and Beyond the Zone that I purchased at Sally's on it. I used Ion's Color Brilliance Brights in Aqua, Sky Blue, and fushcia and Beyond the Zone's Color Jam in Tripped Up Turquoises and Raspberry Kamikazie.

After dying, bleaching and coloring the hair it was still soft and it took the bleaching and coloring very well. I was surprised that the hair still had most of it's wave patten.

After all that I took my hair to Ty at Extend Your Beauty to have her sew it in. If you are ever in the Ocala, Florida area you really have to check her out, she does amazing hair and just like hair extensions she does everyone's hair doesn't matter if you are White, Asian, Black, Indian, etc. she can take care of you and make sure you look beautiful when you walk out her door, with any means necessary.

Okay to be honest she doesn't put an iron on just anyone's head I just already have a lot of hair so this helps lay the braids flat, I just found it hilarious.

For this installment we went with a versatile sew in so that way I can throw it up in a bun or ponytail.
In the end it's true what they say when you get your hair done you feel like a new person. I can honestly say I was loving it.
Ty did an amazing job and the hair was absolutely amazing. Minimal hair shedding, the only time I had tangles is when I had hair spray in my hair and most of the time it was my own hair that was in the no no. For me maintaining the hair is the most important thing especially if you plan on using it over and over you want it to last, so I co-washed my hair every 1-2 weeks, deep conditioned the hair like it was own, and I actually only used a flat iron on this hair 3 times, when I got it done and after I washed it.
What I loved about this hair is it was so easy to style. The Brazilian body wave really held a curl well and I fell in love with flexirods. Seriously all I did was use some Motion's Foaming hair wrap put flexirods in and I just woke up like this... well the hair at least after taking the flexirods out and running some my fingers through my hair.
I also loved just having it down and off the shoulder with the colors it was so much fun.
All in all I really enjoyed this hair, I was able to do things to it that I'm afraid to do to my own hair in fear of damaging it so this is a safe way for me to bleach, chop, color and do what I want. I can't wait till I have it put in again I just need to figure out what I want to do next. I also what to try out Star Styles Hair's curly hair, there are so many options!

So have you ever had extensions? If you could have any hair style, what hair style would you choose? Let me know!

If you want to know more about Star Style Hair check out their shop on Aliexpress, also if you want to check out Ty from Extend Your Beauty you can check out her Facebook or her Instagram.
