Urban Decay Electric palette review

Purchased by Me

Hello dolls, today I have my first, yes first Urban Decay palette! I know where have I been?! Not only is it not a Naked it's the Electric palette. I figured might as well go big or go home and let me tell you right now Urban Decay has got me hooked. So let's get right into it.

Urban Decay's Electric palette is just what to doctor ordered after 3 Naked palettes. It is full of 10 bright electric pressed pigments and a double headed black and neon purple eyeshadow brush.

Revolt, a shimmery metal silver.
Gonzo. a shimmery deep robin blue.
Slowburn, a bright shimmery matte red-orange.
Savage, a shimmery matte hot pink.
Fringe, a metallic satin dark teal.
Chaos a matte shimmer dark cobalt blue.
Jilted, a do-chrome fuchsia with a blue shift.
Urban, a satin metallic dark purple
Freak, a shimmery satin metallic pale green.
Thrash, a shimmery neon green, think green toxic.
These are pretty bright and pigmented on their own, but I highly recommend using a primer because pair with a primer these colors scream.
Without primer, Revolt, Gonzo, Slowburn, Savage and Fringe
With Urban Decay's Original primer Revolt, Gonzo, Slowburn, Savage, and Fringe
Without Primer Chaos, Jilted, Urban, Freak and Thrash
With Urban Decay's Original primer Chaos, Jilted, Urban, Freak, and Thrash
These colors blended well and were easy to work with. My biggest concern was that they are bright but I've come to find just because they are look at me bright doesn't mean it's not possible to create a look that's not all look at me look at me.

There is also a warning that slowburn, jilted, urban and savage aren't intended for use around the immediate eye area, but that's a US, Canada and Brazil warning because there is Red in it and some people have a sensitivity to red.

So what do you think of Urban Decay's Electric palette? Do you have it, do you want it, or are you gonna pass? Let me know.
