Sparitual's Fall In Love Swatches

Press Sample

Today I have a Marsala themed post for you! As you've probably heard by now Pantone's 2015 color of the year is Marsala, so we're rolling out the Marsala themed beauty products and today I have one from Sparitual! Today I'm happy to introduce you to Sparitual's Fall in Love.
Marsala is described as a earthy red wine and Fall In Love is very earthy with a spark.
Fall in Love is described as a mauve red but for me it is more of a red-orange full of this beautiful gold shimmer.
The formula for this was perfect, I used 2 coats. What's also great is SpaRitual’s vegan nail lacquers are 5-free and formulated without DBP, Toluene, Camphor, Formaldehyde and Formaldehyde Resin.
Me personally I love the color Marsala. My curtains are the color Marsala before it was in, so I like to think I was ahead of the trend.

So what do you think of Sparitual's Fall in Love? Let me know what you think.

Sparitual polishes retail for $12 and can be purchased on their site and at Ulta.

Smashbox's On the Rock Review

 Purchased by Me

So I did a little shopping at Ulta recently and I was just looking for nothing particularly when I came across Smashbox's On the Rock's palette. Now I've never tried any Smashbox's products before so I didn't really know what to think. So today I come to you with a Smashbox's On the Rock's review!

So first off let's talk about the packaging. I am in love with the holographic gem stones on the packaging. It's on the packaging, it's on the palette and it's on the look book inside, but that's not holographic.
This palette is very sturdy, I'm not going to be afraid to throw it in my purse and the mirror rocks.

On the inside of the palette you will see the theme still comes through with the big gem rock in the center of the 12 beautiful colors along with one of those plastic sheets that says the name of each color and let's be real I'll most likely lose it.
And under that plastic sheet are some gorgeous colors, these are perfect for the holiday parties.

Now that we've gotten into the palette let me explain why I bought this...

Need I explain more? The pigmentation with these colored are amazing and they are so smooth, I couldn't say no.
L-R Coronation, Vanilla, Nutmeg, Sapphire, Mist and Obsidian
This is all with no primer, from left to right we have Coronation a deep plum purple with eye catching sparkles. Vanilla a matte beige. Nutmeg a metallic gold-copper. Sapphire is a metallic sapphire. Mist is a shimmery snowy white lilac. Obsidian is a gun metal metallic with some eye catching sparkle.

L-R Blacktop, Opus, Chianti, Bourbon, Confectionette, and Midnight Emerald.
Also with no primer from left to right we have Blacktop a matte black with eye catching sparkle. Opus is a satin/matte pale almost white pink. Chianti is a shimmery sangria with eye catching pink sparkle. Bourbon is a deep dark chocolate brown also with eye catching sparkle. Confectionette is a pale metallic shimmery champagne. Lastly, we have Midnight Emerald a metallic emerald green.

So my thoughts on this palette are that the colors are beautiful. I'm in love with the pops of color and the finishes. My least favorite would have to be Blacktop, it didn't do anything for me the sparkle came through to me more than the actual matte black, I wish it were more black to rock out with these gems. For the most apart I see myself getting a back up because I can't stop playing wiht Midnight Emerald and Bourbon

This is an awesome small palette that is perfect for those holiday parties on the go. What's even better is it's on sale right now at Ulta for $18!!! I originally bought this on sale for $29 and it retails for $36. So I'd snatch this steal of a deal if you can.

So what are your thoughts on this palette? What's your favorite color in this palette? Let me Know.

Bdellium Pink Bambu Brush #974 Review

Purchased by Me
Hello dolls, today is going to be a simple a quick review of one of my favorite brushes. Today I give you my review on Bdellium's Pink Bambu #974 Tapered Powder Brush.

I was introduced to Bdellium Tools at the Orlando Makeup Show and ever since then I've been hooked. What's more to love is each is handmade, so in my mind each one was loved a little for me. Here's a little about Bdellium...

"We create each brush using a balance of natural and/or synthetic hair to achieve the perfect amount of form and stiffness compatible with the function each brush is designed for. Our 7 different product lines have very distinctive features: Maestro Series features a collection of luxurious antibacterial makeup brushes with nickel plated brass ferrules. Green Bambu, Yellow Bambu and Pink Bambu Series features eco-friendly makeup brushes with all sustainable bamboo handles and all vegan soft synthetic bristles and an anodized aluminum ferrule. Studio and Travel Lines feature antibacterial makeup brushes with the classic 7 layer lacquered yellow handle with an anodized aluminum ferrule. The SFX Series is our makeup brush line specifcally for special effects makeup." -

And a funny fact the "B" in Bdellium is silent, so it's more like dellium with a secret B.

Now on to my favorite brush! When I was at the makeup show I was drawn to the Pink Bambu brushes, because well they were pink! And after touching them all I knew I had to take one home, yes sadly only one, so I gladly took the #974 Tapered Powder Brush with me.

#974 details
  • Designed to sculpt and shape cheeks and temples using powder, blush, or highlighter
  • Professional eco-friendly, makeup brush
  • All sustainable bamboo handles and vegan soft synthetic bristles
  • All aluminum ferrules. 100% cruelty free
This baby is soft and light and with the shape my product goes just where I want it.

I've been using this brush for a month now and it's held up amazingly. After washing it there was no bleeding, no shedding, and it was still baby soft.

I also think it's pretty cool that handles are made out of bamboo.

Bdellium makes some unbelievable brushes that are beautifully made and are a makeup lovers best friend. My goal is to stock up on their Studio brushes especially their blending brushes, I've heard amazing things about them.

If your on the market for a Powder Brush this is the brush for you! This #974 Tapered powder brush retails for $20.00.

So what are your thoughts on this brush? Do you have any Bdellium brushes? Also what is your all time favorite brush you own or even wish you had? Let me know.

Gerard Comsetics 1995 & Cherry Cordial Review

Press Sample

I'm pretty sure you've seen Gerard Cosmetics or as they use to be known as Whitening Lighting Cosmetics around the web and recently they've re branded and come out with some new lipsticks. Today I get to share with you 2 beautiful colors, I'm sharing with you 1995 and Cherry Cordial.

But before we start can we talk about these golden tubes! I personally love these, they are like golden bullets for lips that are going to knock you dead.

So first up let's start with 1995.
1995 is such a 90's color that's making a big come back thanks to Kylie Jenner. You know it's a throw back color when your mother tells you she use to wear that color all the time back in the day. This is actually a beautiful color, at first I was nervous because let's be real I'm a girl of color and some nudes/pinks don't really look right on me but this color is very colored friendly as it's a warmer kind of nude rosy pink.

Next we have Cherry Cordial.
Cherry Cordial is a beautiful dark vampy red. It actually reminds me of a matte version of OCC's Black Dahlia! It's a perfect winter color.

In the end these are nice colors and I actually like the matte finish of them. I also loved how they managed to last without having to check and make sure I didn't have lipstick on the side of my face. My only recommendation would make sure your lips are prepped because since they are matte if you have flaky lips this lipstick wont be your friend, but they're not overly drying like some matte lipsticks or cracky. They actually go on easily too.

These retail for $19.00 each.

So what are your thoughts on these colors? Have you tried Gerard Cosmetics? Let me know.

If you want to know more about Gerard Cosmetics make sure to check out their site and check out the other awesome colors and I highly recommend their lip glosses! Also make sure to check out their facebook, twitter and instagram on sales and giveaways.
