Purchased By Me
Hello dolls, today I'm excited to show you the Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy Palette. Let me start out by saying it took me 4 Ulta's and 2 cities to finally get my hands on this palette and it's so worth it.
This pallette is described with "Key makeup artist essentials paired with two glam pops of color.
Designed in collaboration with world famous makeup artist Amra Olevic,
@amrezy, each of these warm shades can stand on its own as an easy wash
of color or layer together to create an endless array of looks."
So let's get right into it starting with the packaging.
The design on this palette is fierce. The cheetah print is gorgeous, it's one of the prettier designs I have in my collection. The packaging itself is a bit so so for me, it's made of a cardboard but at the end of the day it holds up nicely. I've had this palette for a couple of weeks now and it's held up to being in my purse, being dropped and all the normal mishaps that could possibly happen.
Inside we have a reflective mirror, a 2 headed brush, and 10 colors. I'm not loving the mirror, it's not really a real mirror, more of a reflective piece plastic. Mine makes me feel like I'm looking into a circus mirror because it makes my face look distorted, like I have the Maleficent cheek bones going on and some sharp looking ears on one side. Me personally I like the brush, I love when palettes come with brushes and this has been a nice working brush. Now onto the good stuff the colors.
This palette has 5 shimmery colors: Legend, Glisten, Topaz, Iridescent Purple, and Emerald. Then you have 2 satin/shimmer- matte colors: Vanilla and LBD. Then you have 3 matte colors, Caramel, Morocco and Deep Plum.
From Left to Right we have Legend, Glisten, Topaz, Iridescent Purple, and Emerald.

These colors blend so well and are so smooth. As you can see you have a better color pay out when using primer.

I am head over heels in love with Morocco, I can't tell you home much I love this clay red/orange. These are the perfect crease colors.
These colors made me very happy. There is enough pigmentation that's perfect for my dark skin gals and the colors are easy to mix and match.
This is the perfect fall palette with it's deep sultry colors. And what's even better is it retails for $29.
You can purchase this palette on their site here or at Ulta's site here.
So what do you think about this palette? Is it something you think you want this fall? Let me know your thoughts.
I am very much all about packaging these days and I love their packaging.
ReplyDeleteIt is totally fierce packaging, I just wished my mirror wasn't so wonky
ReplyDeleteAs much as a shimmer, glitter lover I am, I'm finding myself falling in love with more and more matte colors this season
ReplyDeleteI love Anastasia Beverly Hills products and this palette looks gorgeous! I may have to go check it out! I also like the good combo of matte and shimmer shadows, I don't think enough companies include enough matte colors to compliment.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried any Anastasia Beverly Hills products yet but this palette looks great! I love the cheetah print (not a big fan of cardboard packaging though :/). The emerald color looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWoah that is serious dedication shopping right there! I've been in your shoes though, I stalked out the Maybelline color tattoos when they first came out lol. This palette is lust-worthy, loving the cheetah.
