Fall is in the air with Pomegranate Nail Lacquer

With each new polish and the cool weather I'm falling more and more in love with fall. So today I have 2 new beauties from Pomegranate Nail Lacquers fall release to show you, Autumnesque and Curator.

First up is Autumnesque.

It's described as "A copper polish with golden shimmer that reflects russet leaves, apple cider, and all that is best about fall."* And it is true to the description, it is simply amazing to look at even in the bottle.

This polish was simply a doll to work with, this took 2 coats and I had no problem with streaks. The shimmer is really stunning it really does transfer from bottle to nail really well. My only problem with this polish is I didn't want to take it off and now I'm freaking out that the holidays are right around the corner!

Next up we have the beautiful Curator and all I can say is WoW wOw WoW.

It's said to be " A fashionable night out captured in a bottle—this luxurious black polish is packed with gold and silver glitter."* And it truly is, it's a going out tonight go to polish perfect for any look.

And here a close up if you still don't believe it has a the Wow factor.

Yea amazing huh?! For the first left hand side picture I used 2 coats it still had a bit of nail visibility with the lights for the photo but without the lights you couldn't tell, but for the other pictures I added another coat for photo purposes only. But seriously this polish rocks and went on effortlessly.

Pomegranate Nail Lacquer also has 5 more other shades for fall plus her already releases collections. They retail for $9.00 and at the moment she's have a sale where some are even $4.50! So make sure to check out Pomegranate Nail Lacquer's site and also check out her facebook page she has stellar deal updates and fun ways to win discounts often.

**These products were sent n to me from a PR for a honest review, all opinions are mine and mine alone.

Falling Forward: Back to School

Oh how long ago it's been since I've been in school, planning to go back but for what you probably know better than me.

Anyways today I was ecited because I get to use one of my favorite polishes from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics besides for Flat line... which I did use but I am in love with Blackboard.

It's just like a greenish chalkboard, you know those things they used before white boards and over head projectors? It might be before some of yours time but it's really a beautiful dark green that at time could be mistaken for black.

So on with the nail art I just painted things that reminds me of school on each finger and after that I matted it.

I just used a simple white nail art paint no name for the abc and 1+1=2, then for the ruler I used cult nails Feel Me Up with an Orly black nail art paint, the paper I used Milani's White on Spot and no name nail art paint, and for the apple which I was very proud of I used Zoya's Rekha and again random no name nail art paints then matted it with Flatline. After that I chose to used Essie's No Place Like Chrome.

So what do you think? Am I ready for school? I enjoyed this challenge it was fun and cute, make sure to check out all the other nails that are ready for learning(I know my puns are just getting lamer and lamer but I think it's funny).

Falling Forward: Rainy Days

Blah lately it's been rainy and I live in Florida so it's like a down pour then it gets hot and humid and then another down pour... not great for your hair I can tell you that and my hair is already crazy as it is without the help from mother nature. So for today's nails I just chose to keep it simple and wanted to use some polishes I bought from the Zoya BOGO sale and polishes from the Diva collection, Song, Feifei, Jo for the clouds and Snow White for lightening and I did the rain with Essie's Stroke of Brilliance.

This is how the weathers been minus the glitter and shimmer.

All I need is an umbrella, so make sure to check out all the other rainy day nail designs and stay dry.

Falling Forward: beach nails

I have the most amazing talented cousin she painted my beach Mani today for today's challenge and she's only "7 1/2" apparently you have to say the half part. We hope you like the mani she used cult nails toxic seaweed because seaweed is in the ocean duh she says and zoya Kiki for the star fish, pippa for the sun and song and snow white for the wave and I honestly don't know what she did to the pinky but she says it adds character. So here's my cousins master piece.

Also make sure to check out the other kick butt nail designs, they really make you want to go to the beach.

Falling Forward: Neons

So I was doing the 31 day challenge and it hit me... I'm never going to finish and it started feeling like a choir plus my cuticles are taking on massive beating *sobbing cuticles* so my darling Kim from College Polished came up with a new challenge that is not everyday and I like the themes so I'm switching to Falling Forward Nail Art Challenge, that way I also have time to show you some amazing things I've gotten my hands on so on with the challenge.

So today's theme is Neons.... Right now me and neons don't get along very well I had to fight with my polishes and the polishes won... here's my design...

I used American Apparel's Neon Rose and Neon Green. As you can see my neon green was a little thick so you can see the overlap but all in all I used neons. But this design reminds me of Nickelodeon's Slime, which brings back memories and makes me think of Amanda Bynes *sighs* but I do like this design when using neon's, if only I used a polish that was more cooperative but the neon green is so fun and I never had any problems using it on it's own, oh well. Make sure to check out the other fabulous gals joining me in this challenge and their bright designs.

31DC Animal Print

Okay so this challenge is kicking my butt, you may have noticed Stripe day is missing.... I failed horribly so I'll have a stripe day makeup coming soon maybe tomorrow, but since I am feeling moody about failing yesterday I desired to just keep it simple. So I decided to do a cheetah print and I decided to use the Zoya polishes I scored in their BOGO sale. I used Ivy and Snow White.

What I love about Cheetah print is it so simple and quick. All you do is paint your base polish(Ivy), add spots(snow white) and mark the outside of the spot with a "C" or "W", doesn't have to be perfect in fact it's better the less perfect it is. I add little extra dots in random places too. Then I add a top coat and finished, simple enough right? When I did my first animal print I was shocked I actually could do it, I just love Youtube videos on animal print there are so many.

I keep looking at my nails and feel like a cougar, rwar! So what is your favorite animal print? Make sure to check out the other wild designs today.

31DC Dots

Hi Darlings well today we're seeing dots! Today is a simple design, I used China Glaze Deviantly Daring, Orly's Luxe and Milani's Black Swift.

This design was easy I used a Bundle Monster dotter tool, just made 3-4 large dots in the middle(how many fit) and on the outside made smaller ones and in the inside of the larger dots I put black dots and WHA-LA!

I think I have a new favorite nail, this was easy and fast. So what do you think? I just love seeing spots and today all the girls did fabulous so check them out too. Now all I have to do is come up with idea with stripes....
