Hello Dolls! Today is the first day of the Let's go Camping Nail Art Challenge brought to you from Challenge Your Nail Art a group of fabulous doll faces coming together every month creating stellar nail art.
So for today's Under the Stars, I wanted to work on my stamping so I dusted off my stamper and stamping plates and picked out some of Milani's new Color Statement polishes(they are fabulous for stamping FYI) and created this manicure.
I started with Milani's Ink Spot, a dark dark blue that looks black at moments. It is so glossy, it should be illegal, here drool with me.
Then I used a Cheeky stamping plate CH46 a stamped on some planets and stars using Milani's Charcoal Charm, which is a gun metal grey.
After that I wanted to stop because I liked the look of the 2 coats because it reminded me of a matte on gloss look, but then I realized that it didn't look very starry so I added an accent finger with Milani's Spotlight White and using the same stamping plate CH46 stamped on my ring finger.
AND because I can never leave anything well enough alone I added some sparkle because we're talking about stars here, we have to have some twinkle so I used Milani's Rainbow Prisms to add a little bit of twinkle to the accent finger.
And there you have it ladies and gentlemen, my Under the Stars manicure. I really enjoyed doing this because I'm so happy with how Milani's color statement polishes stamped, it was a piece of pie. So what do you think of this Under the Stars mani? Let me know.
Also makes sure to check out these other startastic manicures!
*I used polishes that were sent for review, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
