Banana Stamping Nail Art

 *affiliate link include
Hello darlings, I have a quick fun post for you today since I've been busy trying to update and fix the look and feel of the blog. So what do you think? Let me know if you like it.

So anyways if you've been following my Instagram you've have noticed I've been bit by the stamping bug. I am totally in love with stamping anything I can get my hands on now that I've tried Mentality's Opaque polishes. Best stamping polishes I've tried in a long time.

So last week I posted a random photo of a nail design inspired by my son. He told me I was crazy and I was driving him bananas because I kept eating his bananas, mind you he just turned 4, he's been hanging around my husband too much. So here is the mani he inspired me to do.

This was such an easy mani and I loved how it turned out and apparently so did some of my followers because it was liked so I figured hey they like my mani or hey these guys must be hungry and like banana's too.

For this I used a polish I received from a swap not to long ago, China Glaze Avant Garden Collection, Metrp Pollen-tin, Bright. True to it's name it look like the horrid pollen that is gracing Florida right now, oh how I wish for snow.
Next I used CH42 Nail Art Stamp Stamping Manicure Nailart New Designs Image Plate by Cheeky®. This has to be one of my favorite plates.
Next I used Mentalitys' Black Opaque polish to stamp on some banana's and yummies. I also wanted something to make it all flow together so I used Zoya's Dovima with a yellow rhinestone because everything looks better with a little bling. I also topped off all the other fingers with Kbshimmer's Clearly on Top quick dry top coat.
So what do you think about this mani? Does it drive you bananas? Let me know.

Dermelect Ferosh Swatches and Nail Art

Press Sample

I love vampy colors, I love all the Ox blood reds, wines, and berries shades. So when Dermelect's Ferosh ME nail polish found it's way to me I was over the moon.

Dermelect's ME nail polish is said to brightens, protects, restores and prolongs your manicure for the perfect set of nails. ProSina keratin protein, a peptide derived from the wool of a New Zealand sheep, adds high-shine while strengthening and making nails more durable to prevent peeling, splitting and chipping. The glossy shade dries quickly for color that lasts.

 So here is Ferosh...
Ferosh is described as a deep raisin. This color can be called a very dark Marsala color if you're going by the color of the year.

Now for some nail art, this year I'm trying to get back into stamping so I dusted off my stamper and added some playful dominoes to create an accent finger.
For this I used Cheeky's CH39 stamping plate, Sally Hansen's Insta Dri polish and topped it off with KBshimmer's quick dry top coat.
So what do you think of Dermelect Me Nail Polish in Ferosh? Let me know.

Dermelect polishes retail for $12.00-$14.00 and can be purchased on their site and also at Ulta.

Winter Beauty Staples Beauty Council Edition

Some Press Samples Included

Hello Darlings today The Beauty Council is coming to you with our Winter Beauty Staples and here are my Winter Beauty Staples.
My beauty staples are pretty simple, since I live in Florida and don't go through such a harsh winter or something I would call a winter like I know some of you do, mine I pretty much use all year long.

So let's just right into it, here are the things I am grabbing for more and more this winter.

  • Lush. I am a Lush nut and I am in love with their winter Bath Bombs and Bath Melts. My favorites that I have stocked up on are Star Light Star Bright which is a sparkly silver bath melt that makes my skin feel like butter. Next is Sparkler, which I don't believe is a holiday one but my shop sells out quick, oh how I love this bath bomb, it's so sparkly and I love the smell, it honestly takes me to another place.
  • Rituals. Now I have many favorite from Rituals but their Good Luck body scrub, which is apart of their Laughing Buddha Collection. This scrub does something else to me. It has a orange and cider smell so it's a bit musky but to say it makes me feel cozy instead of manly makes sense right? It's just an awesome body scrub that leaves me feeling relaxed and as my husband likes to say nice and touchable... Thanks hun. The only time I feel nice and touchable apparently is when I use this scrub.
  • Le Mieux. I did a review on them yesterday of their Phyto-Marine Lotion Cleanser you can check it out here. This lotion cleanser is amazing, this is going to be an all year around staple.
  • Embryolisse. I honestly feel like I was living under a rock because I didn't know how amazing this product was till I was introduced to it at the Makeup Show Orlando and after that I was hook. Embryolisse's Lait-Creme Concentre moisturizer is like life in a bottle for your skin, I now have an understanding of why makeup artist rave about these products. It's so hydrating without leaving your face oily and I honestly don't know what else to say but you'll thank me later... I'll wait, there's a reason they call it the 24 hour miracle cream. There is no such thing as winter skin with this.
  • Lip Scrub. I did a review on GLAMer Lips lip scrub a while back, you can check it out here, and my lips love me for it. There is nothing worse than chapped lips during the winter time so to fight it I go to my favorite lip scrub.

  • Lip Balm. Now that we scrubbed our lips the next step to chapped free lips is lip balm and right now my favorite lip balm is by Rosebud Perfume Co. their Rose Bud Salve. I actually got it in a secret Santa swap and I love it.It's perfect for fighting dry lips and even dry elbows and diaper rash as stated in the description.

  • Glo Minerals. If you haven't tried Glo Minerals you need to, especially their lipstick, right now I am obsessed with their lipstick in Snap Dragon. I guess you can call it a deep Marsala color perfect for this winter, the formula to me reminds me of NARS Audacious lipsticks but with only a $17 price tag.

So what are your winter staples? Is there anything special you use for the winter? Let me know. Also check out the other amazing beauties from The Beauty Council and their Winter Staples that keep them going through the winter!

Le Mieux Cosmetics Phyto-Marine Cleansing Lotion Review

Press Sample

Every once in a while I'll be introduced to a product that blows my mind. Today for me that product is from Le Mieux Cosmetics and it's the Phyto-Marine Cleansing Lotion.

This cleansing lotion has made my end of the night routine so much more simpler and so much more effective than my wipes and makeup removers alone.

Phyto-Marine Cleansing Lotion
Infused with marine extracts including algae extract and sea lettuce extract, this cream-based cleansing lotion gently melts away makeup and surface impurities, while soothing and nourishing epidermal skin layers. The unique marine-vegetal formulation also softens, moisturizes and protects skin’s fragile elasticity.

So this is basically a lotion that picks up your makeup, dirt, oils and all that other crazy stuff that are on the top layer of your skin and it just all comes off with a wet wash cloth. When I say it just comes off it just comes off, no scrubbing, rubbing or letting it sit. Case in point we all have the one mascara that is life because it doesn't move or come off for anything to were at the end of the day we're about to pull out our eye lashed which is a no no because we don't pull on the eye lashes. I rubbed this on my face like I would a regular moisturizer, splashed some warm water on my face and wiped it off with a warm wash cloth and everything was gone from my MUFE liquid ink eyeliner, Their Real mascara and my full coverage face, I'm talking about that butter cream full face all of it gone.

What I love about this cleansing lotion is that not only does it remove all my makeup, it's gentle. I have combination skin so most makeup removers and cleansers leave my face either oily or dry and this left my face feeling clean and like I just put moisturizer on my face. So not only does is take it gives.

So if you're looking for a new makeup remover that is simple and gentle or if your looking for that kick start to make your skin routine more effective than Le Mieux Cosmetics Phyto- Marine Cleansing Lotion is for you and I highly recommend it.

Phyto-Marine Cleansing Lotion retails for $24 and you can purchase it at My SkinCare Box.

Next on my wish list for Le Mieux their Facial Scrubber can we say my skin dreams about this at night.

To find out more about Le Mieux make sure to check out their Instagram and Facebook.

Zoya's Wishes Winter/Holiday Collection Review & Swatches

Press Samples

Happy Monday Dolls!! Today I have Zoya's current collection, the Holiday/Winter Wishes Collection to share with you today. This collection consists of 3 magical PixieDust, 2 metallics and a creme.

First up we have Willa.
Willa is described as a full-coverage, densely pigmented onyx black cream. Originally released as 'Black Swan' during Zang Toi's NYFW SS15 show. This black is so sleek it reminds me of a black heel, it goes along with the patent leather trend.
Now we have Prim.
Prim is described as a velvet blue metallic with a full coverage, high-density pigment and buttery smooth application. Prim is a gorgeous frosty blue that is perfect for this season.
Next, we have Haven.
Haven is described as a true holiday plum liquid metal with a thin vein of orchid to ensure brilliance. This has to be my favorite in the collection, at first I was like another purple, but then I realized you can never have too many purples especially with a purple as gorgeous as this one.
Now onto the PixieDusts with Imogen.
Imogen is described as a black crystal Magical PixieDust with holographic hex glitter, the perfect complement to a brighter shade or an accent for nail art. These would be great nails for a simple LBD to add that sparkle.
Next we have Nori.
Nori is described as a sapphire blue Magical PixieDust with holographic hex glitter, perfect for any holiday festivity! Nori is my favorite PixieDust in this collection, it's a gorgeous blue.
Last, but certainty not least we have Thea.
Thea is described as a deep amethyst Magical PixieDust with an orchid flash, packed full of party-ready holographic hex glitter.
I liked this collection. I thought that Willa, Prim, and Haven were gorgeous colors and that their formula was perfect. I wasn't so blown away with the magical PixieDust, no matter how long I let them dry in between coats they seemed to try more satin than textured matte. But still pretty colors and polishes, my favorites I would grab would be Willa, Prim, Haven and Nori.

So what are your thoughts on this collection? Any colors that spark your fancy? Let me know.
