Coola WOW!!

Press Sample

Have you ever come across a product you don't know how you ever could live without? Yea, that's my relationship I have with Coola. Coola is an amazing sun care that spoils your skin in the oh so nicest ways.

Your probably wonder why I'm taking to you about sunscreen when fall is upon us, right? Because no matter if you see the sun or not doesn't mean it's not there. Dolls, the skin is the largest organ of the human body so it's our job to protect it and cherish it because it's our biggest defense from most of the nasty outside the world throws at us.

So let me tell you why I love Coola so much. Let's talk about Coola's Body spf 30 Plumeria Moisturizer.

This body sunscreen is amazing! It's not like other sunscreens, it's light and airy and the Plumeria smells so good(if I could put my arm out and let you smell I would). It doesn't feel like that thick, greasy, smells like sunscreen, sunscreen. You actually want to go out and put this on it feels amazing why? Because besides for the scent you don't even know it's there. Did I mention it's organic and hypoallergenic?!

This is how they describe it...

Nourish and shield your skin from the sun and environment with this antioxidant-infused, SPF 30 sunscreen with broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection. Free radical fighting organic Rose Hip delivers essential Fatty Acids, Minerals and Vitamin C. Organic Evening Primrose and Linseed Oils, rich in Omegas-3 and 6 calms, tones, hydrates and reduces redness. Organic Shea Butter, high   in Vitamins A and F smoothes, softens and balances skin. The phyto-protector Plankton Extract stimulates, organic Cucumber Extract calms and a light Plumeria scent keeps you fresh. Crafted with 70% Certified Organic inactive ingredients.

  • Paraben Free
  • Ultra Sheer
  • Oxybenzone Free
  • No nano-sized particles

Next let's talk about our face sunscreen. Coola's Face spf 30 Cucumber Moisturizer.
I will be the first one to tell you I have the worst skin in the world. I was unluckily blessed with acne and at the age 26 it still plagues me and pregnancy hasn't made it any easier. So needless to say I hate putting sunscreen on my face, even though it's one of the most important places to put it. To me I put sunblock on my face and the next 5 minutes later I'm all oily and shiny, not a good look. On top of that I'll break out the next bad. But with this it's made for your face, it's made to help your skin at the same time as protecting it. Not only that I love the smell of the cucumber it's light and crisp, where the body was a lovely soft flowery sent. I don't know how I've lived without this.

Here's how they describe it...

Get environmental defense as you fight free radicals with this antioxidant enriched, SPF 30 sunscreen with broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection. Organic Acai Oil - high in Omegas-3/6/9, Vitamins B1/2/3 and Vitamins C and E - delivers powerful anti-aging benefits. Organic Evening Primrose and Linseed Oils reduce inflammation, even tone and balance moisture. Patented Oleosome Technology, derived from Safflower and rich in moisturizing Vitamin E, enhances sun protection and helps time-release actives, resulting in 75% less actives! The phyto-protector Plankton Extract stimulates and rejuvenates skin, while a refreshing Cucumber scent soothes the senses. Crafted with 70% Certified Organic inactive ingredients.
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Paraben Free
  • Ultra Sheer
  • Oxybenzone Free
  • Anti-Aging
  • No nano-sized particles

These are amazing products that I'm very happy I've come across them. Also for my lovelies who don't like scented sunscreen these come in unscented too. Coola has alot of amazing sun care products for you.

These retail for $32.00 a bit pricey but totally worth it and a little goes a long way.

You can check out more Coola products on their site and also check out their Facebook and Twitter page to stay in the know, they have awesome giveaways.

Zoya's Zenith Winter/Holiday 2013 Collection

Press Samples

Today dolls if I had a feather you could knock me over, because today I have the Zoya Zenith Winter/Holiday 2013 Collection to share with you. What makes it even more of a perfect day to show you is because this feels like the first cold day of fall for this Florida gal. So without anymore yapping I give you the Zoya Zenith Collection.

We have to start with Payton.
Described as a full-coverage, galactic cranberry with holographic glitter. What more can I say but I love it! I love this cranberry color, I loved application, I love everything about this polish. Payton is a win win what more could you want with this color and the amazing holographic flake glitter enough said. I used 2 coats and just stared.
Now I give you Payton's brother Dream.
Described as a full-coverage, deep space blue with holographic glitter. I'm sitter here laughing wondering what I could possibly say about this color that you can't tell by the picture. Dream is a dream, just like Payton but a dreamy blue.
Next we have Seraphina.
Described as a full-coverage, Polaris silver metallic. They bottled the pearly gates is what they did here. Seraphina is a pearly white with silver metallic shimmer. What amazed me most is it only took 2 coats, wasn't streaky, and it's amazing.
On to the next one, we have Belinda.
Described as a full-coverage, cosmic purple metallic. (Originally designed for designer Zang Toi / AW2013). Even thought I've seen this color over and over again, doesn't mean I don't like it, it's a beautiful color, but in end it's been done before.
Next we have Cassedy.
Described as a full-coverage, celestial pewter metallic. Let's take a moment to just drool. How did they get this in a bottle. It's Seraphina but a deep grey! It took 2 coats and I felt like crying when taking it off.
Last but not least we have Mosheen.
Described as an astro ice blue topper, great for layering over other hues. I layered it over Belinda to give her the little extra loving she needed to set her apart. This icy topper completes the collection to give it the over all chill factor it needed. It's fun and pretty and screams holiday party.
So in the end I'm sitting here wondering how in the world is Zoya going to top this? Can they top this?! If you need anything on your holiday list it's this, overall this gets a 19 out of 10 for me, if only Belinda could have blown me away.

So what are your thoughts on this collection? Is the whole thing as must need or only a couple of colors?

Zoya's Fall 2013 Satin Collection

Press Sample

Every year Zoya comes up with a fall collection I think that could never top the last and every year they do. Today I have Zoya's Satin Fall 2013 Collection to share and drool over.

Okay so lets dive in with Neve.
Described as sapphire blue metallic (Originally designed for Zang Toi/AW13). When I look at Neve in the bottle I think okay it's a blue-purple but on the nail it's a beautiful blue with a hint of purple/pink some how mixed in to still be blue. I used 2 coats and application was flawless.
 Next is Channing.
Described as a rusty or coppery red metallic, I won't lie I love this polish for the name. It could have been the ugliest color and I would be in love with it for the name alone. But luckily, this is one amazing color. It's like a pretty metallic burnt orange, it took 2 coats to get this gorgeous.
 Now lets look at Claudine.
Described as a striking dark meteorite gray metallic. I love this color for fall, it truly make me feel fashionable. I used 2 coats and application again was perfect.
Now lets fawn over Mason.
Described as an exciting red violet or "Fandango Pink" metallic. How they manage to get this fabulous color in a bottle I will never know. They are secretly going how can we give Jessica a heart attack and my heart gave out with I applied this. 2 coats and that was it, I even had to put it on my toes.
Next we have Giovanna.
Described as a stunning emerald green metallic. The "IT COLOR" right now (Originally designed for Zang Toi/AW13). I love this peacock green!! But like all peacock greens it's a stainer(heartbroken), so wear, wear, wear, I repeat please wear a base coat, other than that rock this color!!
Last but not least we have the topper of the collection Maria Luisa.
Described as gold cellophane accent topper (Originally designed for Rafael Cennamo/AW13). I really like this gold topper and you can layer and layer till your heart gives out to get the perfect look you want. I only used 1 coat over Giovanna.
All in all for me this collection was a win. The name of the collection truly fits they are like satin for your names. Do you have a stand out color from this collection or do you need to grab them all?

Jessica Cosmetics Effects Glitzy Review

Press Sample

So what is a little black dress without some glitz? Jessica Cosmetics Glitzy Effect Collection is 6 glitzy glitters sure to give that little black dress(or any polish) that little extra pop.

So lets start with Bling is Black.

I paired Bling in Black with Zoya's Hunter, a green I know but since this is a black and white salt and pepper polish you wouldn't have been able to really see this pop on a black polish. I enjoyed the salt and pepper look, it gives it pop without the sparkle. Here's an example of how it looks on Zoya's Raven just in case you just really had to see what it looked like on black...

Next we have Star Spangles.
This is the one I'm kicking myself for not having for the 4th of July. It's full of red, silver, and blue hexes and regular silver glitter in a clear base.
Now for Sparkles.
Oh my Batman, how I love this holo packed glitter. Seriously, if I could put my hand through the computer to show you I would. If there is a must have polish in this collection it's this one. Just look at it! It's jammed packed full of small holo glitters and hexes in a light sheer black/grey base.
Now we've come to Sizzle.

Sizzle totally lives up to its name. This is jammed pack full red glitters that would totally rock with a black dress and some killer red shoes. When I first saw Sizzle I was like oh a red glitter but when I put it on I had to back track, this is another favorite.
Next we have Glam it Up.
Glam it up is full of different size purple and silver hexes. I really liked the purple in the glitter and paired with the silver on top of the black reminded me of Vikings and how I wish they were rocking this season as much as these nails did.

Last but certainly not least is Razzle Dazzle.
Razzle Dazzle is full of different size blue glitters and silver bar glitters. This was the first one I tried and again when I first saw it I was like ugh bar glitters but I love it. These glitters came together perfectly to rock out my polish.

So overall I really enjoyed these glitters, they added just what I needed to rock out Zoya's Raven and Hunter to the max. What do you think about these Glitzy top coats?

These retail for $8.40 each and can be found on their site here.

Milani's 2013 Fall Texture Polishes Review

Press Samples

I love all the fall texture polishes coming out and Milani hit it nail on with this fall collection. This collection is full of berries and fall flavors, so if you love purples this collection is for you.
Let's start with Lovely Lavender.
This was not my favorite in the collection, I'm on the wall about it because I like the color I just don't know how I feel about it being textured.

Now we have Velvety Violet.
I loved this purple and I think it looks beautiful as a textured polish.

Next we have Mystery Mauve.
This color reminds me of a purple-ish rose that is a perfect color for fall.

Speaking of fall we have Gracious Green.
I like this light mossy green.

Next we have Charming Carmine.
I'm not even saying this because I love reds but I love this color and I think this is a staple in fall/holiday colors.

So are you ready for a surprise? Take a look at Beautiful Bordeaux.

I am in love with this black berry purple color!

So my first thoughts on this collection is there is a lot of purples. But in the end I loved it, I'm a sucker for textures and I really enjoyed something about these colors, maybe it's because the weather is cooling down? So what do you think about this collection?

These retail for about $4-5 and you can find them at CVS and Walmart.
