Model City is Bring Back Memories

Darlings I got to tell you I am so happy I got to know Nina she's so nice, sweet, with amazing nails and not only that she's the creator of Model City Polish. I love how Nina puts simple colors together to create something beautiful. As a fellow polish lover she started out young "As a small child my mom would decorate my nails using toothpicks.  I was always excited for the next day of school to show off my nails to the other kids in class." Since then she's been creating nail designs and mixing her own special polishes. So today I bring you 2 of her beautiful polishes Marigold and Birds of a Feather. One glitter top coat and a full coverage.

First up is Marigold, clear base polish with yellow, light and dark green, and orange glitter hexagons. Marigold is flipping amazing so I had to pair it with a bunch of different colors. Now this polish makes me think of Sesame Street I love it.

First with LeChat's Dare to Wear Dare to Twist.

Next Finger Paints' Art Appreciation Apricot.

Lastly Wet N Wild's French White Creme and Caribbean Frost.

Next up we have Birds of a Feather a shimmery blue base with blue hexagons. This polish is beautiful, the shimmer just adds to the appeal. It only took 2 coats and application was easy. I recommend a top coat I used a coat of Gelous.

Now if you liked these polishes you should check out the rest of her polishes on her Etsy stop I'd love to get my hands on Attack of the Purple People Eater which is another reason I love her polishes, the names bring back some type of memory from childhood(or atleast for the 80's mid 90's babies). Remember to also stay up to date with her current and upcoming releases give her a like on her facebook page. So what do you this of these polishes?

Rocking It Out!

Hello Darlings today is a busy day and what better day to show you a quick nail art than to show you quick and easy nail strips from Sally Hansen. I know most of you have seen these are the stores already, you either stop and look at the designs or you wonder if they work or are they difficult to use. But have you tried them yet? They are simple, fast and easy. I am in love with these because I hate going to work with bare nails and I can put these on in the car on the way to work(I'm not the one driving) and not have to worry about dry time. They have so many different designs to please just about everyone.

Sally's has a new collection I want to show you gals called "Rock Of Ages" inspired by the Broadway show. And these seriously rock here's a look at the collection....

I'm going to be modeling a couple for you so...

First up is Rock N Roar my favorite I just love animal print, it''s a silvery and gold cheetah print.

Then we have Zip it, a silver design with a zipper that zips through the design.

Next we have Amp It Up, a rocking deep purple with shimmer with black guitars, now this one is my husbands favorite both because it's purple and he says the guitars rock(I had to laugh at his obvious pun).

Lastly we have Star quality a bright pink design with navy stars for a girly punk rock look.

These designs are so fun and playful and you all know that I just love salon effects. You can find these are many of these are major drug stores and other places that sells Sally Hansen products for $9.99. Make sure to to check out Sally Hansen's site and facebook page to stay in the know with current promos and updates on the latest collections. So what do you gals think about this new collection?

Summer is in full Blast with nAiL'DiT

Hi Darlings I'm really happy to be introducing this indie polish creator. Okay so today I would like to indroduce you to Andeevie from nAiL'Dit. After talking to her and getting to know her and her polishes I'm happy to say I've made a new friend, it's crazy how much we have in common to being new mom's to have so much polish our poor husbands have no counter space, but what I really love about her is she's down to earth and she listens to you and wants your opinion. Andeevie started out just like most of us from falling in love with other indie makers polishes to creating her own amazing polishes, so she's what many would say an addict to a supplier. What I love about her polishes they are fun and different and full of surprises. So on with the polishes!!!

Today I have 2 to show you dolls, I have Summer Lovin' Melon and Indie-pen-dance Grand Finale.

First Summer Lovin Melon, I love this polish, at first I was totally stumped and didn't know if it would work or what polish I would pair it with, not that I had to really pair it with anything because if you like sheer base with spare glitters you can do that too, but since I have some yellow stains on the nails at the moment it was much of an option for me. So finally I paired it with  Zoya's Maura and boy was I happy.

Oh yea I bet you weren't expecting the hearts and circles were you? C'mon Summer Lovin' Melon, it's everything you wouldn't expect but should be expecting from the name. It's full of reds, pinks, greens hexagon glitters with big black hearts and circles, plus white bar glitters. This polish just screams summer time picnic and it works! Can we say watermelon, strawberries, and apple?

Next up is Indie-pen-dance Grand Finale, now I've been dieing to get my hands on a 4th of July themed polish and this is perfect. It's full of what else? Red, white, and blue plus some silver hexagon, bars, and square glitters. So I paired this with 2 colors, Sally Hansen's White On(white) and Celeb City(silver).

Now I really like this polish I did notice that the red bar and square glitters have a bit of a curl to them but for me that added to the excitement of the polish. This just screams Independence Day and it's fun and festive, I can see myself wearing it just to wear it. Here's it on top of the White On.

Now on top of Celeb City...

4th of July anyone? YES! I love the different size hexagons and everything else.

Andeevie has something other amazing polishes I can't wait to get my hands on like Posion Apple, reminds me of my High School, don't worry nothing bad red, white and black are the school colors and the shards make me think of the mascot ours is a tiger(get it?). Also Gyser Dew is gorgeous and Blue Lagoon and Boom Berry Blash is screaming out my name *drools*. So if you haven't already check out her shop, check it out and also check out her facebook and let her know I sent you. So what do you think of there polishes? Do they scream summer? And now I have Gease's "Summer Lovin'" stuck in my head so as I go on singing till tomorrow darlings.

New Obsession EOS

Hi Darlings, I was asked what are a couple things I can't live without recently and I've come up with a handful of things. 1st my family, my beliefs, my friends, nail polish and my Eos products. So today I wanna talk about Eos. Eos is the Evolution of smooth, so everything you need smooth they've got it under control. So I'm gonna show you my goodies.

First is the hand lotion, I love how it's small and compact, it's always in my purse.

It's 97% natural and full of shea butter, oat extract, and a generous helping of antioxidants and vitamins C and E. And I love how it doesn't leave your hands greasy or makes your hands feel sweaty like, it just leaves them silky smooth.

Next we have my babies, I am in love with this lip balm. I love everything from it's unique shape to it's amazing smell to it's lip softening magic.

From left to right I have Honeysuckle Honeydew, Sweet Mint, Lemon drop spf 15, Strawberry Sorbet, and lastly my favorite Summer fruit. These lip balms smell amazing and are purse perfect.  Eos lip balms are 95% organic and 100% natural, they are filled with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, eos keeps your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth. What I love about these is they give my lips what they need and nothing more, none of the stickiness or chunky extra's that are sometime left behind with other lip balms.

You can pretty much find this babies in most drug stores and retail stores, they run for about $2 and up depending on what product your looking at. So if you haven't tried them out yet you should they are amazing. Check out their web site and remember to like them on facebook and check them out on twitter. So have you tried these yet?

Nail Potions

Hi Dolls, recently I decided to dive right back into the indie polish world and it's litary blown up! There are so many amazing polish creators out there I didn't know where to start. So over the next couple of weeks I will be more than happy to show you these amazing ladies creations and tell you a bit about the mind behind your favorite polishes. So starting today I want to introduce you to....

by Kunimitsu

Kunimitsu is an Etsy shop ran by a darling named Jessica and no I don't love the shop just because she name is also Jessica or the fact she lives in Florida just like me no or the fact that she's simply wonderful... they are pluses but no, I love her shop because of how it all just came together like a puzzle. It's a simple polish story really, girl loves polish, girl becomes addicted(lol), girl mixes up polish, people love polish, people want customs polish, to Happily Etsy after. I love how it just all fit together and she's able to do something she loves. Oh and lets not forget that she makes wonderful polishes dur that's a big one! So on with the polishes...

So I'm excited to show you these 2 polishes, Coda and Cold Shoulder.

First up we have Coda, a sheer black polish with white and gray hex glitter with red sparkly glitter and small holo glitter. I swatched this over Milani's Black magic except the pinky which is only 3 coats of Coda.

Next up we have Cold Shoulder a top coat polish that full of lots of white glitter hexes small and medium, peppered with blue glitters in a clear base. Big ice blue squares, bright blue and teal glitters with micro baby blue holo glitter. In the descriptions it states "The large blue squares do have a slight curve to them - If this bothers you with glitters, you can request that it be made without the large blue squares. Just say so in the check out comment box." So I will should you the polish is the big squares and one without.

First I paired it with Julep's Marisa and kept the big squares.

Next I paired it with China Glaze's Purple Panic(neon) without the big squares.

I adore these polishes and Jessica for making them. Her shop is open on weekends, while supplies last. She spends alot of time on the weekends getting orders made & filled and she never ever list more than she can ship out the following Monday or don't have supplies for so your not waiting so long for your goodies to arrive. So if you enjoyed her polishes just as much as me check out her shop on etsy and check out her other amazing creations. Also make sure to like her facebook page and let her know I sent you. So what do you think of these indies? Do you think you'd try them? And if you seen her polishes which one is your favorite? Till tomorrow dolls!
