Somewhere there's a Rainbow

Hi, dolls today I woke up and it was freezing it was 48 degree's and I know a lot of you are saying that isn't cold but I live in Florida my blood has thinned. Anyhow if you just started following me I'm taking part of Painting Outside the Lines 31 day nail theme challenge and we are on day 9 which is themed Rainbow. So I'm addicted to Pinterest(my link is on the side panel if you want to follow) but I saw this design a while ago and I wanted to try it.

Now this design is pretty simple, all you need is paint, stripping tape, and again patience. Here's how to do it.. First you can take nail art paints(what I used) or any polish and a thin brush to make rainbow lines down the nail... you can have as many lines as you would like 2,3, or the whole rainbow like these....

I neglected to think about my cuticles when I was painting a rainbow but I cleaned them somewhat up and add a coat of SV so when I applied my stripping tape it wouldn't pull all the polish up...

You can apply the stripping tape in any patter or design you want, I chose to stick with the orignal design to keep it safe so I placed the tape at an angle.

Make sure all the tape is covering the part you want to show because if you don't when you paint whatever color you want on top the polish can slip in and mess it up....

I've come to the conclusion that I'm in need of some polish thinner because Hassid is getting a little thick and gluppy on me. So when I was removing my stripping tape it was stringy and sticky on some nails and so I tried to fix it, but this is what it looked like. It's a hidden rainbow, I love this design I wish I could find the place I found it again but all I see on pinterest are copies so my search continues.

Also here is a matte look I used Essie's Matte About You...

So tomorrow's theme is Gradient Nails... hmmm the wheel's are turning so until tomorrow!
